This family is being led by simple-minded Peter and his wife Lois. Family includes their three kids and a cynical dog. Okay, let’s meet with the family members. Chris is an obese guy, just like his dad having a low IQ and NO common sense. Then is Meg, a whiny awkward daughter who desperately tries to be part of the popular crowd, and is coldly rebuffed.

Next is Stewie, a tot with nightmares of world domination and with mind-set of a killer. Oops! The most important part of this family, Brian, a talking dog who keeps Stewie in check while dealing with its own personal issues. Neighborhood includes Whiny, Cleveland, Joe Swanson and Glen Quagmire.

Seth MacFarlane produced, directed and wrote the series and also voiced some important characters. Season 6 finale was aired on 5-4-2008; hope it’s not the series finale. I do love this show because of Griffin family’s irreverent misadventures at Rhode Island. But my fave character is Stewie, the kid with homicidal intentions. Oh! so sweet of you. Family Guy brings a unique brand of humor to the table. It’s most notable being the constant non sensible flashbacks showing the characters doing a variety of unreal things somewhat relating to the situation at hand. DVDs were released by series in mid 2003 and sales were extraordinary.

Family Guy season finale – a pirate’s life for Peter

So, weekend is over and I’m back. Why I’m talking about weekend, actually, there’s a reason for that too. Weekend gives you relaxation from hectic schedules and fills you up with more energy and enthusiasm which is a must for human beings.

How I spent my weekend? Any guesses? I watched latest episodes from all animation series and wrote reviews on those good episodes, some are still pending. And, this is my review on Family Guy episode- Long John Peter. We can call this episode as ‘a pirate’s life for Peter’.

As the episode starts, Peter stoles a parrot from a veterinarian’s officer. Actually, Peter wants to be a pirate and thinks that having a bird like parrot may give him the required inspiration. Peter’s pirating movements with his crew were funny and interesting. Just when his ideas became really interesting, tragedy happens and everything changes. Peter’s pirate days are over after the accidental death of his parrot and so story takes its turn towards Chris.

Chris meets Anna at the veterinarian’s office where she’s an assistant. Poor Brian, who got injured by Chris in order to go there .Things worked well and hopefully Anna will be as a recurring character next season. Episode was so entertaining and ended this short season on a very high note. Following are Angie’s best picks from the best episode:

Anna: I’m really sorry about your Dad’s parrot.
Chris: Oh, that’s okay. He’ll get over it pretty quickly, and then move on to another wacky thing.
Peter: Lois, who’s pipe organ is this?

Chris: So, uh, how do you like working at the vet?
Anna: Oh, it is so rewarding. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved working with animals.
Chris: Did you ever make it with one of the dogs?
Anna: What?
Chris: I mean, uh uh, did you enjoy your appetizer?

Anna: It hasn’t come yet.
